Faye Haskins
A practicing artist who exhibits regularly, specialising in printmaking, painting, mixed media work and digital imagery. Work is in numerous private and corporate collections.
Faye has an M.A. in Fine Art and has specialised in printmaking since her B.A.

Artwork is based on travels both worldwide and in the UK. Although using specific symbols (recognisable imagery) there is not a pursuit of a single idea. The work tends to be a reflection of our contemporary free for all, borrowing from a number of cultural sources. The work is based on people and cultures, past and present and the land and landscape. Trips are documented through photographs and drawings, which are brought back into the studio and developed into different media, often with the added element of memory. Travels have been to various countries in South East Asia and to Peru, where inspiration was drawn from trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, further journeys include a road trip in the S.W. states of the USA, a 115km pilgrimage along the Camino to Santiago de Compostella, Galicia and a journey to British Columbia, Canada. More recently inspiration has been drawn from the Atlantic coastline in Massachusetts and the beaches around the south coast of the UK. Current work encapsulates imagery from all of the fore mentioned travels.

Commissions include a body of work for the premises of Blackfish Capital Management, Saville Row, London.
